NexLoop™ Loop Pilot (Feb-Nov 2019)

NexLoop was invited to join a collaborative Circular Economy demonstration project on Governors Island, NYC. The pilot entailed the retrofit of an existing shipping container into a small scale vertical hydroponic farm. The interior of the container housed various hydroponic setups, while NexLoop experimented with cladding the exterior of the container with our MVP of the AquaWeb™, with the goal of enabling the farm’s irrigation to be supplemented with atmospheric water.
